Vodafone £12'000 Overcharge HELP!!!!

Options
Currently in dispute with Vodafone to the tune of £12k that has been going on for months.
The dispute in in relation to data use on MiFIs we have for some of our site based employees.

One of the MiFis stopped working so was replaced by another persons who wasn't using theirs, we then received a large bill fo the one that had stopped which was for around £3K in the mean time we were unaware that the second MiFi was running up a bill. in total the current bill is circa £12K

Once we were made aware of these extortionately large bills we contacted an IT company to try and work out the reason behind the over charge, it turned out to be a virus on the laptop with in MS outlook constantly trying to delete an email in the trash. The IT engineer noted there was no warning notifications from Vodafone on their MiFi dashboard.

When we contacted Vodafone to explain what had happened and ask why the first MiFI was stopped at £3K but the second was aloud to run up around £9K of charges they basically offer £100 off the bill as a good will gesture. After many weeks and refusing to go to deadlock the have said their final offer is £300.

In trying to now contact an Ombudsman we have found that there isn't one that deals with Vodafone ?? and our only option was to contact the CISAS which we have but as we have more than 10 employees ( we have 14 ) then they won't help and we just have to get a Lawyer if we want to pursue this further.

Anyone with any experience or advice would be greatly appreciated? We are a family run business pushing through a daily battle in the current climate. I'm sure their cost for that data is nowhere near what they are charging us. £300 is a complete insult and I see it as the giant pushing around the small man. Our line rental for Phones, VoIP & Mobile data is circa £1250 per month. Vodafone do not appreciate our business.

Advice, thoughts, direction greatly received.

I don't see what Vodafone have done wrong here? You have used the data and haven't set any cap with Vodafone so you owe the money as agreed in your contract.

Why do you not monitor the data usage on the laptops if you know excessive use will cost lots of money and why do you not have suitable anti-virus software?

It seems the only failing here is your poor IT systems but somehow think Vodafone should reduce their bill ?
