We have a what's irritating you thread, and I think we need a thread for things that have made us smile, etc.

Me - well, we have a puppy who is now 8 months. I let her out this morning and was hoping to keep the door open for her to come in. But it was too windy. I was stood by the door waiting for her, expecting to see her come down the steps.

I then heard a tap at the door. She'd come down the steps, which I hadn't seen and tapped to be let in. She also taps to go out.

Got home from shopping at exactly the same time as RM arrived with a parcel.
Saved me a trip to the sorting office.

    God ether Bless The NHS!
Looking after my after-seizure son & bring very pragmatic & helpful with the head injury.

While I am outfoxed by my phone.
(OK, I saw no sunlight today what with being in the hospital but my lad is home and laughing & frankly vitamin D is overrated some days)

Hearing said son snoring gently this morning as I sloped off to work.
Not the terrifying head injury noise, but his soundly asleep snore, like a stream chuckling softly.

Oooh! Lucky you! All mine are in a box to go to ombudsman so far...

Son helping a pal post move is doing a tip trip & has identified a box that is on my list to go & has offered to take it! Those two young men are going to grow into potentially civilised human beings. (Mind, son’s eye roll suggests he does wish I’d consider that growth myself.)

Dad got a birthday card from the Bowel Screening folk, now he has to mess about with his own poo instead of mine.

Just hope he sends a sample of the correct poo

Had a splendid day Jamboree-ing on the Internet with Scouts!

Life restored to balance by son requesting another early Sunday morning lift into Manchester to give platelets. Just I’ll be sat waiting in the Starbucks where people were being tended after the recent stabbing. Things we do to support platelet donation...

Child texted me - "some big box has arrive for you".
That would be the chest freezer I ordered, hurrah & now to fine tune the plan on what to load into it. Although as birthday presents go it's a bit odd, it is Just what I wanted!

    Don't worry about it.

Dad had a similar type post on another forum even longer before the truck think and some snowflake has picked up on it overnight as being in bad taste.
