We have a what's irritating you thread, and I think we need a thread for things that have made us smile, etc.

Me - well, we have a puppy who is now 8 months. I let her out this morning and was hoping to keep the door open for her to come in. But it was too windy. I was stood by the door waiting for her, expecting to see her come down the steps.

I then heard a tap at the door. She'd come down the steps, which I hadn't seen and tapped to be let in. She also taps to go out.

Picked to be small enough not to scare me, big enough to be useful & we managed to agree a meal for four in seconds! Clearly big enough for better choices.

Himself has decided to restart eating, and used the phrase ”lifestyle changes” - will test just how scared he’s been when I offer him a spoonful of chia & linseed tomorrow. (I prefer it soaked overnight.)

    The sky this morning

It had those colours that just never seem to get replicated anywhere else with that deep shade of blue bordered by the orange of the sunrise when there are no clouds about.

A car repair garage that has the slogan "We will keep you moving" written on the side of it's van and has over a dozen cars that have been sitting in it's yard so long that they have taken root

    "Self Partnered"

I suppose she is nearly important enough to coin a phrase like that even if it is just in her own head.

You are a spinster my dear - an old maid if you'd rather.

I mildly doubt she can spin but yes, spinster of the parish.

Beloved son, having answered my ‘are you awake’ query in the negative, brought me painkillers & a glass of water anyway. This gerblinking knee pain is getting less tolerable.

Not sure about Kevin himself - know he's wearing a costume earlier on.

Once you know this it puts a whole different light on the story ...
... and now that you are aware ....
    ... you can't forget it

    There's a suggestion ....
... not for the first time ...
... his kids do appear rather frequently to be without clothes ...
... is this "normal" in the carrot world ?
    OR is Kevin DODGY ?

I managed to lug son’s new gadget (15.6 kg drill [baffled mother here]) from neighbour to his room despite sore knee & wheezing lots.

Seeing someone going round all the glass on their car with defrosting spray then getting in and immediately turning the washers and wipers on and having the windscreen instantly freeze over again

I know I should not laugh at others misfortune but

I'm sure that kid is going to end up on stage, although it might be as a rock star as that what he wants to be at the moment.
