Mastercard Declines problem

Looks like something of a carbon copy of the problem which affected VISA recently. Starling Bank has issued a notification in its mobile app stating that the problem "appears to be affecting multiple banks" and "some transactions are going through" and the advice is "try again".

Same with Tandem Mastercard:
Just had a transaction declined, phoned Tandem and they said the whole Mastercard system was down0 -
Was same with Monzo, but now says resolved.0

I was in Tesco's and it declined, despite having enough funds. Thankfully, I had my trustee bank notes to use instead, however this shouldn't be happening, especially so recent to VISA's network downtime.Advice provided from this account does not consist of any professional knowledge.
