    Mobiles.co.uk

Took out a mobile in November 2010. Tracked etc fine still waiting for payment nearly 8 months later! I have had nothing but excuses from quidco. It's now go the ridiculous stage that mobiles.co.uk are paying me their redemption.

A quick browse on quidclans confirms this is anything but isolated!

So come on quidco whats going on?

  • My work colleague has had a payment of £109 rejected from Three due to competing cookies, even though he had his purchase tracked and confirmed by quidco. This sounds very dubious to me.

Hi Quidco - Thank you for your help. It is updated yesterday to "comfirmed" and to be paid in the next payment run. I am sure it is from your help after I posted here because Ms Kim (from Quidcare) still repiled me to be patient

Rosie raises an interesting point. If (in my case) 3Mobile claim to have paid commission to another marketing channel, then I have a relationship with that other marketing channel - I 'asked' them to act on my behalf in setting up the contract.

So why can I not find out who this other channel is? The contract between quidco and 3Mobile must be a pretty one-sided affair if, on the one hand, quidco can track a transaction and see it as valid, but 3Mobile can simply say "can't pay, won't pay" without providing any evidence to support their stance. At the very least, the contract should provide the customer with the right to know who was credited with the sale.

My rejected claim with BT will be interesting. I specifically cleared all cookies before starting the ordering process and took screen-prints at various stages through the process showing which cookies had been installed.

One final point - for now. What is to stop 3Mobile putting a cookie onto my computer as soon as I pass through quidco to their site and then claiming that this cookie is somehow evidence of the involvement of a fictitious "other marketing channel"?

I wonder if the Quidco representitive can do anything about the Ceasars Casino £55 cashback that quite a few people have been patiently waiting for since January ?, this problem paying out is being blamed on the affiliates !!....

    Hi Quidco

I was wondering why Four ( 4) 100% Cashback Sites namely TCB, Fatcheese, Getpoundsback and I-Mutual are able to offer 9.00+ for this merchant offer yet Quidco appear to only be offering 3.00. :money:

You may say that different sites have different offers on at different times, in this case we are talking about 4-1 with all 5 offers stated as finishing on 30th June. ;)

I have just recently registered with Quidco and placed an order for a £300 laptop. Cashback was tracked within an hour but at a lower rate than expected. I guess they have took 20% VAT off the total amount paid then calculated the 3% cashback.

I've only just noticed that Quidco keep the first £5 I earn every year so looks like I will only earn £2 from a £300 spend.

What if I was to go through Quidco and use a discount code that is not on the Quidco website, would the retailer decline the cashback and the money then goes to Quidco?

If you use a discount code that has been given to another affiliate & unique to that affiliate (Not Quidco) then it will probably be declined. If it's a discount code that has been given to all affiliates then it'll probably be ok

Always worth checking the other sites as Quidco is not necessarily the best deal.
  • Hi

I took out a vodafone sim back in january and am still waiting. Raised a ticket which then got closed, now raised another one and still no answer back after many weeks. cachback amount is £150, would never have taken it if the cashback wasnt on offer.

    thanks
