Just seen Sainsbury's have 25% off 6 or more bottles of wine.

For those that have Gallo Family White Grenache and White Zinfandel on COS.

Shows as last day today to claim £1 casnback per bottle, 3 redemptions on each.

Both of these are £5.35 per bottle in Sainsbury's.

    Buy 3 of each = 6x £5.35
    = £32.10
Less 25% for buying 6 bottles
    = £24.08

Then claim £6.00 back on COS ( assuming you haven't screwed the receipt up into a ball and tossed it into the bin on leaving Sainsbury's)

That makes it £3.02 per bottle

this is a very fine piece of maths :)

I've got a conditional spend that came in a mailing - get £6 off wys spend £40 - as far as I can tell it includes wine.
So only another £16 to spend on top

    also on COS
Arla organic milk £1.25 with 95p cashback COS
Hoopers dandielion and burdock £2 with £1.10 COS
blue diamond almonds £1.50 with 75p cashback COS

    on GJ
fairtrade bananas £1.30 with 50p cashback
muller rice 50p with 40p cashback
Tyrells crisps £1 with 50p cashback
Tilda rice £1 with 50p cashback (only a couple of types)

But I did my GJ shop earlier in the week :(
so it might have to be catfood and cat litter

Thanks Jeremiah! That makes them cheaper than the £3.50 at A's, although I might still do that for the pinot grigio. I hadn't spotted that it was 3 of each as well. :T

Morning all. The morning crew have been very busy the last few mornings which is good to see.

Sorry Sarah, I cant help, but could you perhaps take a shorter video so that it isnt as large? Or perhaps upload it to youtube then send them a link instead?

The other thing I discovered with Amazon Prime is that when they have special offers you get a message which gives you early access to lightening deals.

I got a weird one from them just which said
    Hills 2233R Chicken
no idea what this was so I looked it up and its cat food. Usual price about £33 but going for £26 so a small saving - but useful if this is your particular cat food.

I've also just realised that I can add the cat food I have been thinking of getting Burgess or harringtons to my wish list - I only used this for my books up to now and you can add a comment into a box underneath so I can put in the price per kg so I've got a price to compare.

    Can anyone help:-

I have a video on my phone of Harley walking and I need to send it to the Specialist Vet Hospital Harley went to, they want to see his progress, everytime I try to add it as an attachment to an email, it says its too large.

I don't know how to do it.

Can you upload the video to somewhere (Photobucket? flickr?) and then just send them a link to the video?
Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.

From someone who finds very few wombles or decent whoopsies, I have been quite happy going to my local Aldi stores (three or four nearby) first thing in the morning. It's hit and miss of course what is reduced, but there are always some 50% reductions in the salad/veg, chilled and bread. I noticed yesterday in one store they even have a few in the freezer.

I also like Lidl, whilst stuff only reduced 30% off original price, they always have the next day's date on them, and some even a few days. I got two carrot cakes before my hols with three days left on them

    .

I feel like I've got to share my grocery shopping secret now...:o
I do most of my grocery shopping online, mainly Oscado
I know it seems like the most expensive choice but with my little trick it isn't and I like the service(always on time, great at sorting out any issues)
But the MSE in me doesn't like the prices...
A while ago I noticed that they do 'flash sales' just before you check out, it took me a little bit to suss out the whole process but this is what I do now:
I put £40 worth of stuff in my basket and then 'pretend' to check out(usually choosing evening del slots gives you the best stuff on flash sale) playing with different days etc to see what stuff is on sale.
I do it every day, usually around 9am then maybe a couple of times during the day to see if something nice is added...
So I get nice fresh meat/fish, fruit, veg etc at 50% off when I'm actually ready to book my delivery I usually have only sale items in my basket plus essentials like kitchen roll
I know it's not as good as whoopsies and glitches but as I very rarely go to supermarkets this is my way of getting a bit of a bargain
I also have delivery pass so £3.99/month for unlimited deliveries
I also recently discovered that Morbobs are using the same system so it works with them too
I have two baskets on the go at all times(as once you put a sale item in your basket it stays at the same price) and get the one I like better delivered once a week or just have two smaller ones
    Hope that helps someone x
And hope they won't stop it because I shared the love lol
And that I explained it well enough :rotfl:

Today's offer is the normal suspects for £3 main meal.
Friday is Costalot free drink day, which is normally just a gift code for £2.45 valid for that day only. I have combined to get a drink and a treat before, depends on outlet.

Verging Reed has 2000 free pizza today, available at a random time, so down to luck.
