Praise for Next

Ordered some flowers and chocolates from Next on Tuesday for delivery on Wednesday.

Received an email from DPD at 9pm on Wednesday to say flowers won't be delivered until Thursday. Finally arrived Thursday lunchtime and surprise, surprise, they weren't in the best of condition.

Phoned Next this morning who quite frankly handled it brilliantly.

1) an apology (goes a long way)
2) replacement flowers (and chocolates even though they were fine) ordered for delivery tomorrow
3) thrown in a bottle of perfume as an apology to the recipient (it was their birthday afterall)
4) credited £10 to my account for my inconvenience.

Top customer service. Well done.

  • That's wonderful. When I get good service like this I like to email the company with the employee name and my praises. They will often tell the employee, you never know you might just make their day (:
