Happy-healthy-dog vibes for Rosie and Kelpie.

I'll be doing what bit I can manage again this week; the girls are here til Thursday. In fact next task is to take them for their walk - Mr LW will come with me, we have a good system, he takes Milly and walks in front, and I follow on on the mobility buggy, with Mia in tow.

Bathroom was blitzed yesterday, so that's all good.

Mr LW has seen the GP again this morning; the Omeprazole he's been taking for a month did not one iota of good (I didn't think it would, but one has to do what the GP says) so now he's being referred to a specialist. :(

Bin day tomorrow, so I need to get the recycling bagged up ready to go. I shall also have to put the black bag out, as it's full; but it's not done bad, it's eight weeks since I put the last one out.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

    Update:

    If it's gone, it's done or n/a:
Magical Monday - Barnacled Bathroom and Sociable Study/Pc Area
    Level Two...
Clear any clutter from desk - still a few bits on there which I aim to declutter this afternoon: they relate to college prep

    Level Three...
Clean/wash the brushes/dust box/filters on the vacuum cleaner!!!!
    - and empty the bit that collects all the rubbish.

I've also done other bits and pieces as I've gone round upstairs, including dusting and hoovering our bedroom, so the whole house is now tidy - or will be when I put back the runners in the hallway and utility, removed earlier in case of more accidents.

Thanks very much for the tip, Honey Bear - I'll get some. Healing vibes for Kelpie too. Rosie has eaten a bit of boiled rice and about half her normal breakfast but is happy not to go out for a walk atm, so I should be able to finish my reading before lunch.

    No sign of DH yet!

ETA: Spoke too soon - he's back now :)

    Afternoon all.
I would like to once again sneak back in. We have just bought a house and I would like to keep it all sparkly and clean.
I also have one box left to unpack that has been sitting in the dining room for three weeks now. Plus I need to go through the books on the bookshelf (they are stacked in a bookcase at least, but not tidy)
I have bits and pieces I would like to sell, so I need to organise that.
BF is currently working on the pups bedroom. We have a small oddly shaped room, which the previous owners used as a utility room, however there is plenty of space in the kitchen for a washing machine and dishwasher. So we are converting it into a small bedroom for Duncan (the pup).
BF is putting wooden cladding on the walls to hide the pipes from the boiler (and away from doggy teeth) then I shall be getting on with the painting later in the week.
This is the only room we will be decorating before xmas, so we can get Duncan out of his crate and in a nice secure space. We will then be saving up and tackling more rooms in the spring/summer time.

Magical Monday - Barnacled Bathroom and Sociable Study/Pc Area
    Level One..
Clean floors in these rooms (even if it is around the clutter)
Throw away all those empty bottles of shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, hairspray etc. I know they make the room look pretty but they are just cluttering up the place..!!
    Level Two...
    Clean baths, toilets and sinks
Remove and bin all those slivers of soap that you have been saving, do you really need them?
    Clear any clutter from desk
Dust PC and desk and wipe off those cup rings!!
Wipe keyboard, house phone, sockets, switches and mouse etc
    Level Three...
    Clear clutter from floor
Wipe down tiles in bathroom.. defragment the pc while doing this (programs.. accessories..system tools.. defragment!.).. if you do the disc cleanup as well, clear all the cookies and temporary files too
Delete 10 links in your favourites which you no longer use or are dead!
Clean shower screen/curtain if you have one/if required
Clean/wash the brushes/dust box/filters on the vacuum cleaner!!!! .. make sure they are completely dry before using it though.. I don’t want anyone electrocuted!!
    Change hand towels and flannels
    Extras:
    • Wipe the skirtings, door and window frames in these rooms
    • Wash your bathroom mats, nets, clean blind/curtains etc
    • Grab a binbag and fill it with stuff to leave the house.. rubbish or charity shop or to donate to a friend!
    • Clean the radiators in these room
    Other bits
    Organise stuff to sell
    Tidy books
    Empty last box
    Paint Duncans room

Fitbit has just told me I need to get off my butt and move, so no time like the present!

am off out, walking in the Peak District shortly. If things come to fruition this will be my penultimate Monday off: I *may* have a new job for Mondays and Tuesdays, after half term. So I am making the most of it. Got to fetch washing in first. Ran 3 x also ran DW

I'm hovering rather than flying and I'll be off list this week. The lurgy remains in the household and to be quite honest none of us can be bothered :o :rotfl:

Dog will be cared for, DS will be fed occastionally, work will be done and anything else is a bonus.

    Have a good week x

    Paint Duncans room

Not too much done from the list, but DW and WM have been on, wet washing hung, dry washing put away (actually put away, not folded and left on the chest of drawers for a week as usual)
BF making good progress with Duncans room. Most of the cladding is up. He's on holiday from work tomorrow too, so should be hopefully finished off tomorrow, then I'll be able to paint on wednesday.
New blind has been bought, but I cannot find a light shade I like, so I'm leaning towards painting the current shade with some left over tester paint.

I'm in girls! Currently waiting for karate to finish and feeling like death warmed up.

Flood barrier survey done today. Installation should be by the end of the month. Good job too as we had three high water alerts over the weekend.

Will catch up with all the news a bit later - hugs to all xxx

    Bonjour,
    I'm in this week,

Every little helps, this will be my 3rd week and so far lounge and bedroom are quite reasonable and kitchen is improving. I try to do something from the list each day as I know that in the long run it will make a difference and I also try to keep on top of at least tidying the 2 rooms that are good. They are a long way from perfect, whatever that is but they are nice to be in now.

If I haven't done it I'm not going to worry about it, look at what I have done not what I haven't. Be positive.
Today have WM x 2, TD x 2, made bed, tidied round lounge, cleared plates into DW and washed pan, a few bits cleared off the sink unit in the bathroom and towels put in wash. Toilet wiped round. China brought back to house on Sunday evening unpacked and put away in kitchen. Area behind desk cleaned, it has been pulled out to sort a wiring problem that was fixed days ago and not yet been put back but will do that once floor dry.
