It's the last day of my holiday today and I am tired so apart from walking the dog I will be resting.

I ended up having some garlic sausages leftover from a BBQ from freezer last night chopped up with stir fry veggies which needed using up and some noodles. Today will be more meals from stores and I will do an aldi shop tomorrow on the way home from work. We have a few eggs left so I will hard boil some and get a bread roll from the freezer to take a sandwich to work as no doubt I will be hungry about 10am after a 6.30am start. ;)

Hope everyone has a good Sunday

Yum to garlic sausages no wonder you are tired. You haven't stopped all holiday. Well done in paying off some of your card.

The weather is a bit grotty here too. Let's hope it gets better soon.

Had a lovely dog walk for an hour on the common. There was a bit of rain in the air but not actually raining. Found lots of apples and filled my pockets with a dozen for puppy treats ! She likes a bit of apple :D
There was lots of blackberries too so I will take a container with me next time.

Had weetabix with some stewed apple from freezer for breakfast and I fancy oven chips and egg for lunch. Haven't had chips and egg for ages :p there are some portions of chicken curry in the freezer and packets of micro rice in cupboard so that's dinner sorted. Hoping for a NSD today.

I know I said I was resting today but I have a few bits of housework to do. Dishwasher has been unloaded & refilled and is just finishing. I have clean washing to put away. It's raining now so I am glad we got back from our walk before it started. Puppy is snoozing so I think I will join her !

Not a NSD today ! I bid on a new timer for my boiler which is now obsolete and managed to win for £29.95 including postage. Hope it all goes through ok and works when it arrives as all the other replacements I have seen are over £70 ! It would be good to have a boiler timer that works for the winter so I don't have to keep running up and down stairs to turn the boiler on and off.

Day 1 back at work and Day 3 of no chocolate or ice-cream.

I went shopping on the way home from work and spent £55.02, slightly over budget of £50 so I will have £45 left for next week but some items may carry over to next week.

Walked puppy for an hour this afternoon, I am feeling tired now. Had a pizza for tea £1.69. I also got some ham and roast beef for sandwiches at work this week, and some tinned pineapple and tinned peaches in juice for a sweet treat instead of ice-cream or chocolate.

My mower blades have been dispatched from bay-of-e seller, but I haven't heard from the seller of the boiler part yet. Hope he's genuine and not like the last one (different website shop) who never replied or sent the item and I had to reclaim from paypal.

Well done on a good food shop. I hope the boiler and mower part arrive soon. I went for a short walk with my brother and have had low sugars all day so I have rested.

Good luck tomorrow. It's my first day back:o

Its been a busy week and I am tired. I'm glad its a bank holiday weekend !

I put £10 petrol in the car today and did an aldi shop and got a few bits for the weekend and next week £12.09 and I have £24.84 left in my bank account. We still have quite a lot left in the freezer/fridge and store cupboard so we shouldn't need much more food before payday.

The lawnmower blades have arrived so I will be able to cut the grass this weekend.. if this rain ever stops :rotfl:I missed the parcel with the boiler timer so I have arranged for it to be re-delivered tomorrow. Our post usually comes by 11am on a Saturday so hopefully I wont have to wait in all day.

I am waiting for the doctor to call. Apparently the results of my biopsies are back from the hospital. I cant see there being anything serious if they haven't called me before now. Puppy is booked in for xrays on 6 September, should mostly be covered by pet insurance.

I had a naughty bacon roll at work this morning and a bar of chocolate :o but I did manage 6 days without any ice cream or chocolate. I will get weighed in the morning and see if it has made any difference. :p

Woke up this morning thinking it was a work day so it was lovely to realise it's Saturday :T

Puppy has been fed and is snoozing. I am back in bed but will need to get up again soon as parcel is being delivered and I want to put pork joint in the slow cooker for pulled pork. DS can take some to work on wraps. There should be enough for a couple of lunches and dinners. DS has some turkey meatballs in freezer so will defrost those for him to take to work tomorrow in sauce with pasta both in store cupboard.

I have been invited to a Christmas meal 2nd Dec with the girls £30 so with taxis and drinks will be around £50. I need to include this on next months SOA to start saving for it. We are getting a miniscule payrise this month so once I know how much that is I will put that towards it.

Not sure what the weather forecast is for today / bank holiday but I have loads of washing to do DS clothes, my clothes, towels and both lots of bedding. Then I will put quilt back on my bed as feeling cold and throw is not enough. Will fit plastic lawnmower blades to flymo and cut grass at some point over next few days too if it's dry enough.
