    I think you will find that this only applies if you are using the old forum version which is not available to new members.
    With the new version forum, the Subscribe button is at the top of the thread in it's own right, next to the Post Reply button.

    Thanks all.
    However there’s no green bar, or thread tools, or post reply- only quick reply.

    The only way I have managed to subscribe is to change my user settings to add a subscription to a thread if I comment on it 🙈
    I don’t want to have to comment every time 🙈
