Need to organise my savings and work out how I am going to achieve my goals so time for a new diary.

    I need to save for the following in the 2019/20 tax year;

    * Mallorca - July 2019 - £1113.00
    * Disneyland Paris - September 2019 - Unsure of how much at the moment!
    * My Home Fund - March 2020 - £3400.00
    * Emergency Fund - Ongoing - £1000.00

  • So as you can see I intend to stick around here for the long haul and this savings thing I want to be forever.

    I have been one of those people who for a long time have just used credit cards to buy anything I want, this is not going to happen any longer.

  • Made some changes to post#2 to update the plans for 2019 so far.

    I have been able to add an additional £131.00 to My Home Fund but this won't happen now that I have everything else to save for!

    I think because I am so used to just using CC for things I need to keep a long term focus on the savings.

    There will always be things to save for!
