Itemtracking says delivered but I do not have it

Hi
I recently bought some jewellery from US on ebay. I know dumb. Waiting and waiting. 3 different tracking companies codes provided. I tried tracking last night and it said delivered. On Friday. ? I have not got it. I have asked neighbours. I was working at home all day except brief 45 min gym.
I have emailed seller and asked where it has been delivered to.
What else can I do- this was quite expensive.

It does happen that it gets lost but still shows as tracked. If you can let the seller know and ask them to help with the courier they may end up getting a claim and be able to refund. Be careful not to open a case until you hear from the seller as they can upload the delivery details and you may not get a refund.
As a seller a similar thing happened to me and the buyer opened a case, which was the first I knew of it. I uploaded the tracking details and Ebay found in my favour. Fortunately for the buyer I contacted the courier and they found that the driver had lied on tracking and eventually paid on a claim and by then I'd refunded the buyer anyway..0 -
Not dumb at all if the seller had good feedback and provided tracking info (although not sure why there are 3 codes...?).
Probably best to wait and see what the seller has to say - it is very common for couriers to deliver to a neighbour and be less than scrupulous about putting a card through the door of the intended recipient.0 -
You say that the item is quite expensive. If it's over £120 you will have to pay customs charges, so if this is the case it may be being held by the carriers pending payment.You're only young once, but you can be immature forever

Entirely possible, but I regularly buy from the US and when things are being held on entry to the UK, the tracking normally says something which tallies with this. I've never had something marked as 'delivered' when it is still in the tender care of Customs.0 -

I have had this scenario, but it was quite a while ago so it might just have been a glitch. Mine was via DHL, it showed as delivered but by the time I had got a response from the seller (which took a few days) I had already had a message from DHL asking me to pay my invoice online so that the item could be delivered to my address. I googled customs duty on goods coming into uk from USA and it came up with this
If you buy goods online from outside the EU for delivery to the UK, you'll have to pay Customs Duty (if over £120 value) and Import VAT (if over £18) on top of the purchase price (including duties), though Customs Duty is waived if the amount of the calculated duty payable is £7 or less.

Well it all ended well.
The seller used Ebay Priority global shipping and I did online chat with them and they could not track a name location or signature, so I have been refunded and the seller has be re-imbursed with shipping insurance.
They were really nice.
We could track it up to the last courier used in the UK.
It was not a customs issue by the way.
I think I will be wary of buying expensive stuff overseas but the support team were very helpful.0
