Hi,
I have a very small pension of £1k which was build up over 18 months in my previous job. I have now been working for the Civil Service for 7 months and have joined the Alpha Scheme .Not sure whether to transfer my Nest Pension into the Alpha scheme or transfer it into my private pension(built up over 20 years). Would appreciate any comments on this in terms of the pros and cons.
I am 55 years old. My private pension is a lifestyle pension scheme offered by Baillie Gifford.
