Thanks for my badge Badger! and thanks Lucky for reminding me to enrol on the mortgage free roll of honour!:)

My usual saturday routine, housework, but today instead of hubby up at 2pm for walkies, poor smelly spaniel is off to the hairdressers for a bath and trim, she only goes in summer twice for clipping, and once or twice in winter to trim her ears, its lovely for the 48 hours after when she is fluffy and sweet smelling :rotfl: she doesn't like it tho!

This week, we have paid off our kitchen loan in full, our pay days are next week, so next friday after last of xmas money put aside into hubby's isa, we are going into turbo frugal saving towards our new home.

Im going to read my old posts to remind me of where we started, and how far we have come, hopefully this will inspire me even more. I know the secret to saving is keeping an eye on spends, i always look at something and think, do i really want that as much as i want our life in our new home? , and the answer is no on 99% of occasions :)

Both our wages have gone in, all direct debits paid. We have put aside xmas money needed for gifts etc.

We were left with a grand total of £2,200 :j to use to buy premium bonds, which i do straight away on pay day, no temptation to use any cash for unnecessary spends that way ;)

We now have a new total of £2,700 towards our £35,000 target for August 2016, only £32,300 to go! :T

Im halfway through cleaning the house, just going to nip to the library before it closes at 1, and call for naan breads for our curry today..

Have a lovely weekend everyone xx Sammy xx:)
