JCS1, that's adorable, I know what you mean about the back stitch, I love when it makes a design pop
Coxy, what blanket are you doing or is it a custom pattern?Cross Stitch Cafe Member No1WIP: Cross Stitch: Seascape Kit - Crochet:0 -

Hi everyone,
Sorry for the lack of posting. Had the first full week of work and didn't even manage that as had a migraine on Tuesday so had to take to my bed. Thankfully I don't get them very often and bosses were lovely about it, but means one day less pay next week as I'm a temp
I've been sticking with my crocheted blanket this week as it's easy doing it and watching telly. Was also out two nights in a row (pizza with friends on weds and fat club on thurs - wished I'd done it the other way around!).
Nmm it's the Kasbah pattern from black sheep wools if you want to google it. I'm about 2/3 through the main body of it. Will need to sew my ends in at some point but putting it off! I'll join you with the card making although not a valentine card as I bought one last year but didn't give it as we drove to the french alps for skiing on that day and didn't really celebrate! Think I'll have a look for some Mother's Day designs and make a start as two needed by 31 March and it'll soon come round!
JCS1 the cross stitch has come on really quickly. Can't wait for the BABS to bring it some definition - fabulous.
Today we are going for a walk around the country park. Since we lost our dog we haven't done this so it'll be a welcome breath of fresh air. Have a few fresh bits to get from the SM, and a little ironing to do as did most of it yesterday. Hoping to continue with crochet this evening.
Have a good day all

Coxy, glad you are joining me for the card challenge, I aim to make at least one a month including Christmas and birthday cards. I don't do valentines day it would be a waste of materials, haha. I will google the blanket design in a mo.
Here is the latest Elvis update

Hope everyone is ok.
Fresh off the hoop (and now in a folder in the cupboard as baby isn't due until March).
