Whats the cheapest way to send Faxs?

Just wondering whats the cheapest way to send Faxs as I have several hundred I need to send. Should I send them via the internet or use a mutiprinter with fax and dial via 18866.

Any suggestions appreciated.

    Could you not use a PC with software configured to use 18866 before each number (I believe it can be done) - there is free web based faxes but its comes out the other end with promotional stuff on it...
