    Morning sun is out here.

Thanks we had a really quiet restful weekend but still felt tired. Hope you daughter enjoyed her holiday. She thoroughly deserves it after all her hard work. Great you found a break for November at a bargain price. Should be good as it’s recently refurbished.

Indie hope your DS likes the hamper. We used to go on family picnics with a cardboard box and a cool box. I felt so made up when we had a proper hamper basket.

We collected GS from school yesterday and when we came back postman had left the parcel with calligraphy set in the porch. It has lots in it and it’s my friend’s birthday next week. So good timing. I have never bought her a present but know she will like this. She had a hip replacement in July.

Collecting GS means we leave here at 2.30 to pick him up at 3.30. You never know what the traffic is going to be like and at that time a 20 minute can take nearly an hour. We were home and 7.30 for dinner I hate driving straight after eating. So we were lucky parcel was still there as it came in shinny metallic envelope.

Hope everyone has a good day and be lucky.

The hamper is lovely, 6 different cheeses in a cold box in the basket, and a nice blanket as well. They are looking forward to testing it soon. Glad to hear your calligraphy set turned up and just in time. It's sunny here so am going to try and get hedge cut back later.Hope you all have a lucky day.

Sun not very bright here at the moment but supposed to be warm by afternoon.
Your prizes sound great leanfun and indie - especially like the sound of the cheese!
DD had a lovely holiday thanks. It was only 5ngts but think she made the most of it although nearly missed their early morning pick up!
We are getting well through the tree/shrub cutting back but have a huge pile of cuttings to dispose of. They all seem to grow so much every year.
Can't cut back the buddleias as our garden is still full of butterflies which is lovely but they keep landing on the grass, washing and other shrubs so we have to be careful.
Not been a lucky year for me so far apart from the Forest Holiday so hope the comping fairy remembers me soon!
