  • Can I join please?

Sign me up for 6k. I also have a separate savings goal of 3K for a visit to Australia so don't want to get carried away!

    Thanks

  • Definitely want to get involved - though I think 12k will be a big ask for me, I only really got into the saving habit this year and next year my income will be a bit weird as I’m going freelance.

So I’ll aim for £6k please! Let’s dream big!

    - Any interest gained during this challenge on your savings can be counted

Just interest from savings accounts or can p2p interest count?

I assume investment returns/losses don't count? but what about the govt bonus for LISA subscriptions?

Thought I'd check before signing up as it will dramatically affect my target and I'd need to adjust how I track my 'savings'.

    | counted my investment/p2p returns and fortunately never had losses but would have counted those too. Different people follow different rules in this challenge so do what fits your circumstances.

Yep people have different circumstances. I just declare what comes in as cash, so that includes interest from anything, current account 'rewards', dividends. But doesn't include ups and downs in values of investments, as I haven't cashed them out.
