This time I am going to copy the SP items here as there were a few changes from last week to this week. This shows the price increases and decreases in bold - the increases are followed by a frown but M should unfortunately be the best comparison now available. The price decreases are followed by a smile and, where the item name is itself in bold, as a new item, these are items that have come back into comparison against M having apparently decreased in price in M. The items would very likely have been previously there but would have lost out as A was previously more than 10% cheaper when M was higher priced than what it is now. There are also a few changes to make: I am now moving off SP Jaffa Cakes at 31p filler and onto buying M Savers version in M as that has gone down to 30p. It is the same number of jaffa cakes and is technically more weight, although I don't suppose anyone shaves off about 1g of a jaffa cake to use at some future stage, so in effect it's just the same number of jaffa cakes being consumed (and therefore lasting the same amount of time before needing to be bought again - important consideration when :money:) at 1p cheaper. However, we need to check whether Aldi or Lidl are cheaper on value jaffa cakes, which are not showing online, before quite moving to buying in M. Assuming they are not, and are same price as M, or more expensive, then M Savers goes onto the list. This though is the A vs M SP list. Unfortunately I'm not able to do an equivalent list for SP vs S, T and W like before - items should be best or equal best compared vs M if they appear below:

ASDA Farm Stores Cooking Bacon (500g)57p N/A
[Strike]ASDA Farm Stores Seedless Grapes (500g)£1.35 £1.25[/Strike] This appears to have been replaced by Wonky version in M which I am regarding non-comparable.
ASDA Farm Stores Smoked Gammon Rounds (2 per pack - 250g)£1.10 N/A
ASDA Farm Stores Unsmoked Gammon Rounds (2 per pack - 250g)£1.10 N/A I think M has changed to Market Deals - no longer Savers: if so, and if the price collectors are as strict as me, this now means N/A vs everywhere and therefore all comps. now "best".
ASDA Farm Stores Unsmoked Streaky Bacon (275g)£1.04 N/A
ASDA Pickled Onions in Spirit Vinegar (440g)30p 30p
ASDA Smartprice 15L Pedal Bin Liners (80)79p N/A
ASDA Smartprice 45L Swing Bin Liners (40)70p N/A
[Strike]ASDA Smartprice Baked Beans & Sausages in Tomato Sauce (405g)44p 40p:eek:[/Strike] Much more expensive than Heinz were before.
ASDA Smartprice Baked Beans in Tomato Sauce (410g)23p 24p:eek:
ASDA Smartprice Batter Mix (128g)15p N/A
ASDA Smartprice Beef Lasagne (400g)£1.00 £1.00
ASDA Smartprice Bitter (4x440ml)90p £1.00 Vs W is safe.
    [Strike]ASDA Smartprice Breaded Chicken Burger (8 per pack - 456g)97p £1.00:([/Strike] Move to Avs T 97p.
ASDA Smartprice Breaded Chicken Nuggets (20 per pack - 320g)79p 75p:(
[Strike]ASDA Smartprice Broccoli (1Kg)90p 90p[/Strike] Seems v.expensive in the light of pre-Christmas offers. Note-change in packaging/design in some Ms - we know what happened to the Yorkshire Puddings when similar thing happened:(.
ASDA Smartprice Butter - Salted (250g)£1.40 £1.40 This is still a lot more expensive than what it was a year or so ago. Still not as low price as Wyke Farms Butter Salted 200g 79p Lidl weeks ago.
ASDA Smartprice Cheese & Bacon Quiche (400g)£1.10 £1.07
    [Strike]ASDA Smartprice Cheese & Onion Quiche (400g)£1.10 £1.00[/Strike] I think now likely to be N/A for M.
ASDA Smartprice Cheese & Tomato Pizza (268g)60p 60p:)
ASDA Smartprice Cheesy Spread (200g)64p 64p But I don't think as cheap as it was.
ASDA Smartprice Chicken Curry & Rice (400g)£1.00 £1.00
[Strike]ASDA Smartprice Chicken Flavour Instant Noodles (65g)20p 20p[/Strike] This seems to be OOS in M and has failed on the APG previously.
ASDA Smartprice Chicken Portions (1Kg)£1.60 N/A Or Sains Basics works out at same price per kg but having to buy 2.5kg.
ASDA Smartprice Chicken Roll (400g)96p 96p:(
[Strike]ASDA Smartprice Choc Ices (8x57ml)72p 70p[/Strike] [Strike]Now 10p More points offer in M, technically 'cheaper' (although only if you spend a lot more and use the points to reach an exact £5 amount).[/Strike] 10p More points in M gone - but this in A now not as good as M was. Neither store any good anymore:rotfl:.
ASDA Smartprice Chocolate Hazelnut Spread (400g)80p 80p
ASDA Smartprice Chopped Tomatoes in Tomato Juice (400g)29p 30p:(
ASDA Smartprice Chunky Chicken Breast Chunks (240g)£2.00 £2.00
ASDA Smartprice Cold Water Prawns - Cooked & Peeled (200g)£2.00 £2.00 But see Lagoon King Prawn Flavour Tails 150g £1 in M.
ASDA Smartprice Coleslaw (300g)34p 34p Due to increased prices everywhere - now needing M comp. for most people to reduce a little:(.
ASDA Smartprice Concentrated Fabric Softener - 42 Washes (1.47L)66p N/A
ASDA Smartprice Corned Beef (340g)£1.47 £1.47 However, S went to £1.30 several months ago (expired).
ASDA Smartprice Cottage Cheese (300g)64p 64p
ASDA Smartprice Cottage Pie (400g)£1.00 £1.00
[Strike]ASDA Smartprice Cream of Chicken Soup (400g)29p 24p[/Strike] Heinz soups worked out cheaper.
ASDA Smartprice Crunchy Peanut Butter (340g)65p 65p
ASDA Smartprice Dark Chocolate Bar (100g)30p 30p
ASDA Smartprice Dip Selection (500g)£1.40:eek: N/A
ASDA Smartprice Dish Cloths (5)73p 74p
ASDA Smartprice Disinfectant Pine (1L)30p 30p
ASDA Smartprice Dried Mixed Herbs (18g)37p 30p:(

ASDA Smartprice Fish Fingers (10 per pack - 250g)75p 70p:(
ASDA Smartprice Food Bags Medium (100)90p £1.00 Actually M is Small but APG was last seen comparing - doesn't matter anyway as neutral on APG.
ASDA Smartprice Fragrance Free Baby Wipes (80)50p 50p I think no longer comparing against M:( - M did adjust to slightly more expensive by number and A would have therefore technically worked out cheaper than moving to buy in M:( - however, if this doesn't compare, M are now same effective price as A so could move to buying in M.
ASDA Smartprice Fromage Frais - Fruit (6x55g)50p 40p:)
[Strike]ASDA Smartprice Frozen Garlic Baguette (170g)41p N/A M has 150g at 37p but it is outside of the weight range[/Strike] Not to buy A product now as M appears to have gone down in price so is now better value.
ASDA Smartprice Fry or Oven Chips (1.5Kg)99p 81p:(
ASDA Smartprice Garden Peas in Water (300g)21p 20p:)
ASDA Smartprice Garlic Breads (2 per pack - 340g)65p 68p
