I believe the 5c beer at the 5 oclock somewhere bar has now finished. Heard it is now 50c. May forgo that happy hour and go straight my favorite bar at the Stage Door casinio:)
Had to Google this to understand exactly what you were referring to... can't believe I didn't know about that Happy Hour! (though TripAdvisor reviews indicate it is understandably pretty hectic!)

Yes was hectic but for a cheap beer to stand out on the veranda looking over on the strip. The barmen would usually give me 4 beers for two of us, so in the hour we could possibly get 2 rounds in. Tip a couple of $ and usually got served a little quicker.

We may try out the Cromwell happy hour on our next trip, then the short walk to the Stage Door Casino bar.

Noticed that the Stage Door must have bought out their lease. For the last few trips I've noticed that they no longer have the sign that says how many years left there is. Last I remember it was 21
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

Has anyone done Vegas for a week? I'm considering a week in the May half term, but not sure if I'm kidding myself it will be worth the trip. I usually go for at least 9 nights. My only must do is the Valley of Fire .
    Thanks :)

We only go for a week at a time now.We used to do 10 days but having been many times we plan our trip to cover just what we want to do and to be honest with you I am always ready for home after a week .

We normally do 10-14 days but have done as low as 5 before when we drove in from Tucson so in reality 4 days there as did not arrive until around 6pm on day one.

If your must do is Valley of Fire you may want to push that little bit further to Bryce Canyon which is far nicer and Zion National Park. you can do both in a day if you get your foot down.

Another big vote for Zion - one of my favourite places.

Here's a link to the Zion section of the US National Park Service web site, which has photos and information:

Do they not still have Michelob at Casino Royale for $1 ?

Unfortunately not. They have increased the price to $2 some time ago and raised the price to $3 this week, but you can choose now from a bunch of beers -> https://s33.postimg.cc/49j6pvbxr/DSC02362.jpg.

Did you enjoy your stay at Stage Bar?

Yeah, We nipped in to the Stage Door for a few again last night.
Everyone seemed to be drinking Michelob so ordered a couple of those.
They were $1 each...so the $1 beer still exists in Vegas for now.:T

I was talking to a barmaid about the same thing when I was last in there and they said they were working on it, glad it has been resolved if that is the case.

T.b.h that corner on Flamingo would be prime land so near to the strip. I am sure developers would like to get hold of it.

Good to know, have they now stopped selling the PBR?
