Does anyone remember this arcade game? 18th Aug 18 at 8:36 PM
I played it mostly on holiday in the 90s. It was a horse racing game - probably same or similar to this one:

Although what I remember is the jingle it played when the horses were being pulled back into the start position, but that's not on the video

Has anyone seen these around lately? Are they still in use?

I remember something very similar to it but not exactly the same(i think) in arcades. My young immature self thought it was hilarious that one of them was pink and called gaylord. The one with the best odds hardly ever won. We loved it though.

I remember playing this game in an arcade in Scarborough in the late 80's - I loved it. I remember the robitic voice sayinf 'Place your bets NOW'. Fun times

Yes - we played it a lot. And found a broken machine in Weymouth one year that kept paying out on the same horse - it's is a family legend.

I still look in arcades for them. We found one in the last year - I think it was the amusements in Southport (or Weymouth still!).

I might have a day trip to Southport next year, so will keep an eye out. Thanks!

Yeah, the voice! Had forgotten about that.

Good old proper arcade games, as opposed to video games played in an arcade!

    Happy memories there.
The one that used to fascinate me, although not a game, was the "Haunted House" one with the old chap in a nightshirt going up to bed, and all the haunts peeping out at him.
I think the last time I saw that one was at Weston in the late 70s.
