Calculating Weekly Wage

Options
If you are being made redundant and your usual salary includes a sizeable commission element, is it usual for the weekly salary used in the multiplier calculation to be an average of say, 6 or 12 months including commission or is it just the basic salary that is used?

The weeks pay is defined in the employment act.

Yes, commission is included. Essentially, it's how much money you earned in the last 12 weeks divided by how many hours you worked in the last 12 weeks.
(Although I could be wrong, I often am.)

Statutory redundancy, as said, is defined I the act

Anything better else is either a matter of employment contract or the employers decision if the contract is silent on the subject
