    So sorry Mrs-money penny.

I spoke to soon about my patchwork. Had a look last night and the dimensions are wrong so at least one more side row to sew. Sigh.

  • Really sorry to hear of your loss, Mrs money-penny. When my mother died, it took a long time for me to readjust to a new normal, and I'm just about getting there several years later. Look after yourself.

I’ve finished off the quilted panel. Which may become a pocket to some kind of bag.

I have also finished off another embroidered robin, a note book and have disposed of a bad of things from the craft room. Yay.

Last week was horrible after the shock and upset of losing my DH, my 18year old ds2 had a stroke last Monday. He had a large blood clot in his brain but thankfully the first aider at his work recognised the signs and called 999 it was a very scary few days but the clot is out and he thankfully has regained full use of his limbs and speech. Not sure what is going on with my family at the moment!
Anyway once I knew he was ok I managed to start getting some knitting done while watching over him in hospital and now back at home. I've had this kit in my stash for ages, it's going to be for my granddaughter for Easter

Used a very pretty piece of fabric from my stash, to cover a box that will fit into one of the drawers in my new sewing desk. Will hold the bits and pieces from my sewing machines. Stash makes upto 11/150 so getting there.

Mrs M my heart goes out to you, what a terrible time you and your family are going through. Glad to hear your son is going to make a good recovery and I hope his future will be bright and yours worry free. Xx
