oh well I was hoping for a sit in the garden this evening...but its wall to wall cloud....no sign of the Spanish plume yet...

it may end up as a cup of tea and a fleece rather than sipping a glass of wine in the sun....

Im sat here with my jumper on and socks on my feet, cause its so cold. The sky is dark grey, think someone forgot to tell Wales, about the sun :rotfl::rotfl:

I was interested in this conversation about decluttering and downsizing. I am still living in our 3 bed semi on my own and would love to move to something smaller but it really needs clearing out 1st.
DD has a new baby as does DS and yesterday when I was out shoppign with DD she asked me when I retire, I said not till NOV 2019 ( I am 62 ) and would it not for the changes to women's retirement age I would be retired now. Problem is if house is sold OH will expect half and he has a fairly good pension from Royal Mail and even though we are not divorced I feel that should be taken into the equation if we sell. I have spent the last 8 years paying off the mortgage ( from about 78000 down to 35000 ) and also think that should figure in any split.
    What do others think ?

I think you should go on the financial boards. I think the last 8 years would be taken off providing you can prove it was just you paying.
With my parents divorce my father will get 40% of the value of the house of what it was worth in the settlement. It might be a good idea to investigate that, I don'y know if that's a normal thing
I have dyslexia, so get used to my spelling and grammar :)
Mortgage pay off date 11/2028. Target 12/2020 :rotfl:
    Current Balance £33921
    Declutter 2123/2016

Good evening, for those looking to get new sunglasses, have any of you looked at Tens sunglasses , a relatively new company that originated a few miles from me, and caught Richard Bransons eye who gave it some backing, the glasses are a new concept seemingly, my dh got some and to be honest they are nice but not sure about the hype:o
