Hi,
All you serial switchers, now that most of us have received our free £125 from Natwest, where next to go?
I have two options either the Halifax or M&S
Is it worth going to the Halifax for £75 or wait till they maybe they increase it back up to £125.
Or M&S sounds a great deal if you have 3 Direct Debits which I have.
I have had my payments from HSBC,First Direct,Clydesdale B,and Natwest.

It's a fun wee hobby, isn't it? :rotfl:0 -
First Direct don't like me. Which makes me think M&S won't like me either, as they're owned by HSBC. (Which is odd, because HSBC do like me.)
I would try Halifax, but when I click on "Apply Now" or whatever, it takes me to an error page.0 -

I would gather most 'serial switchers' have already bagged M&S and Halifax.0 -
Finally got through to Halifax. Turns out they don't like me either.
So I'm done.
HSBC £200
Amex £100
Clydesdale £250
NatWest £125
Total £675
in just over a year
Plus I get cash back from various cards and accounts each month.
Not too shabby.0 -

Already done Nationwide?
I already had a TSB account. Nationwide doesn't appear to have an offer at the moment.
I got the same message from M&S that I got when I applied for First Direct — we'll get back to you in five days. FD e-mailed me this afternoon asking me to call. I spent an hour on the phone to them giving vast amounts of personal information. At the end of which they told me to get stuffed. I'm not going through that again with M&S. If they ask me to supply more information, I'm not going to bother.
Halifax gave me an immediate no.
It's all a bit of a mystery. My total savings exceeds my total credit card debt by a healthy amount. I have an HSBC Advance account and an Amex Gold Card. MBNA just offered me a 3 year 7.9% balance transfer deal (that I didn't apply for — I'm an existing cardholder).
But FD think I'm scum, apparently.0 -

Wonder if Barclays, Santander or Lloyds will do one...0
