    My Mums 60th 22nd Oct 19 at 9:42 AM
    Hi,
I understand sot quite money saving, so if there is a problem I will get this thread removed.

    I am organising a somewhat surprise dinner for my mums 60th. I am asking for ideas for party bags to give to all the guests;

What chocolates do you remember from 60's/70's?
What chocolates would you like to find in a party bag to remind you?

What sweets do you remember from 60's/70's?
What sweets would you like to find in a party bag to remind you?

What toys do you remember from 60's/70's?
What toys would you like to find in a party bag to remind you?

What drinks do you remember from 60's/70's?
What drinks did you first get tipsy/drunk on first?

Any old style money saving idea's to help.
I have posted this in a 2 other places.
    Many thanks for any help

Cherry B mixed with cider, I was drunk & sick on that a few times in the early 70's.

Love Hearts & flying saucers, I think Wagon Wheels as well, though nowadays they seem so much smaller......or maybe I'm bigger!

Found this site, be careful what you pick, the party guests probably had all their own teeth 'back in the day'.

    What a lovely idea.

Babycham & Martini Asti Spumante for drinks
You can now purchase retro sweets and chocolates from Amazon

I was very keen on babycham but I can also remember gin and bitter lemon being very popular.
