About 10 minutes ago, I remembered that I hadn't parked the car at the other end of dd's school, ready for this morning's schedule. So my lovely dh left even earlier than usual and is now moving it for me before getting the bus, thus saving me about 10 valuable minutes getting to work. Love him!

And as ever - wow on the exercise!

Just been for a lunchtime constitutional - round the block twice! 18 mins ish and 2k steps and a nice bit of up and down. It was a good feeling to stretch my legs out - no bag, no child...

Now I must face the pile of 'stuff' I need to do.

And dh texted to offer to get milk + eggs. So I am kindly letting him...

And dd casually challenged me to do 900 KB swings in one go. She did concede that I could do it over a day, not all consecutively - phew!

I plan to do it on Friday - day off...

We had a lovely call last night from the brownie pack dd wants to go to. So mega thanks to my friend who gave me the number, knowing there were spaces :D. Dd was bouncing off the walls with joy!

Swimming/outdoor PE; Brownies; cheerleading; knitting club; recorder; indoor PE; taekwondo; ballet + free style; kids klub. How dd does all that, and fits in a full week at school...is amazing :D. She had 4 bags to take in yesterday!

Tis my morning off from doing dd, so best shake a tail feather and get off here! Am fed and coffeed, bag is packed. Off to ablute and dress, and fit in a walk before entering the building...

Walk got walked. Water got drunk first thing. Kettlebells remained untouched, so there must be a kettlebell swingfest tomorrow :D.

Grain and sugar free-ness was scuppered by gobbling down 2 and a half Lilty cookies. Oopsie. 1 might be an accident, but not the subsequent ones...

    Tomorrow:
    - washing
    - washing up
    - school run
    - return library books
    - aldee - may require 2 trips
    - chemist
    - penguins
    - marking
    - check availability of training course
    - sweep floor
    - 1000 ketllebell swings - gulp
    - move climbing frame ready for fireworks
    - write a couple of letters
    - be in at 5pm
    - secret knitting

Think I may have overdone it a bit...:D Sat on the sofa, a Robin Hood film with a mythical creature on horror channel, and absolutely no desire (or ability) to get up!

Still a couple of hours left, so letters and knitting it is!

    Letters and knitting complete.

    Also did the chemist.

    I definitely overdid it!!!!!

Am tempted to pay some more to the mortgage but don't want to leave myself short for any emergencies... I can always access the joint account so I'll not really be struggling, I just want to stay within my budget.

I have just finished reading Mark Boyle's The Moneyless Man. I read it in short bursts, to be able to absorb it, and have enjoyed it. I also have India Knight's The Thrift Book on the go, which is very practical and easy to read.

So long as the books have a positive impact, then they are worth the 50p each I paid.

Today's library book is called Sew Over It and is another interesting read.

And I have a 3-in-1 Cadfael to keep me entertained too.

A joint effort on tea: dd has cooked the steaks, I did the hm chips (both tatties and swede ones), onion, garlic, mushroom, broccoli. Yum.
