Dunno, but it looks as if the 'Prairie Planting' of the garden has encouraged the neighbour to build an excellent wall.

Reminds me of the house we bought about fifteen years ago - a potentially very nice Victorian house that the vendor had converted into four flats during the 1960s. The garden (around 65' x 35' - quite big for a city) appeared untouched since then and consisted entirely of brambles that were at least shoulder-high
As a result we were unable to negotiate our way to the end of the garden when we viewed and after purchase we discovered a curious set of garden furniture - circular table with attached seats forming a wheel-like arrangement, in total around 2m in diameter - standing on its end (so 2m high!) that was completely buried in the undergrowthMortgage-free for fourteen years!
