Any UK charts Music experts here? trying to remember name of two dance songs from 2008 and 2010?

Dont have much to go on but if anyone can help would realllyyyy appreciate it!

First one was in the UK charts aroud 2010 and was ALWAYS on the radio, it was a very catchy dance song, it sounded Indian but it wasnt Indian. Dont think there were many lyrics to it, if at all.

Next one was a dance song which was always on the radio around 2008/09 and was very very distinct as it sounded like it was music from the Passion of Christ but in a dance form.

Hope someone can maybe help please?

Hi there, for (1) how about "Mathar - Indian Vibes"? Twas a very catchy song which fits your description to a tee, although it was first released a decade earlier, I recall its being re-released around that time ...plus it was basically Paul Weller.

Would need much more info for (2) - eg., what genre was the song otherwise in? And were there any vocal samples used in the song?

anyway hth and would v much like to know how you get on, as I suspect, even if (1) isn't the one you're seeking, you'll still probably be much grooved by it nonetheless ;-)
