Your score - no.
Your history - yes.
Ignore the score.
When was the amount defaulted?
Have you checked your credit report/s and can you see it listed there?
Why did you not just cancel the listing on eBay? (too late now I know)0 -
So you explained to ebay that you broke the rules (shill bidding) and they suspended you and you don't want to pay the final value fees....2.88 kWp System, SE Facing, 30 Degree Pitch, 12 x 240W Conergy Panels, Samil Solar River Inverter, Havant, Hampshire. @!!!, nothing has shown on my credit score in the last 5 years from ebay.
Not sure why we didnt just cancel probably just being stupid thats the only time Ive ever used ebay.
@cjmillsnun Pretty much yeah, I was 18 at the time and did not read terms and conditions made an account and within 10 minutes had the car up, but my thread is not a question in regards to what I have done ? It is a question will it affect my credit score, apologies if my thread wasnt clear enough.0 -
Yes it will impact your credit history. As it's a negative fact.
Nothing to stop them recovering the debt and their collection fees either.0 -
It will not affect you credit history unless it goes on it.
And the only way an ebay debt is going to do that is if it goes to court and you lose.
For such a small value unlikely.
However ebay will have required a lot more of your details from you to open an account. Expect never to be able to have an ebay account again.0 -

For referenceHi,
I'm looking for a bit of advice, around 5 years ago I posted a car on eBay on behalf of a friend to cut the story short the Car didn't sell for the price he wanted so he purchased it to close the auction, (not to familiar with Ebay) I was charged £11 for the sale, I contacted ebay and explained the situation, my account got suspended and I never logged back on since (as I am not an ebay user this was a one off sale) I've just received an email from a debt collection agency stating I owe them the £11.68 my question is, if I refuse to pay this ridiculous fee after 5 years... lol, will it affect my credit score? I'm 95% sure ebay do not have any details of me other than email address name etc.
Thank you!2.88 kWp System, SE Facing, 30 Degree Pitch, 12 x 240W Conergy Panels, Samil Solar River Inverter, Havant, Hampshire. Installed July 2012, acquired by me on purchase of house in August 20170 -

Most stupid advice ever. It will if they go for a CCJ.0 -

The same 'parasites' who let you sell on a worldwide platform? And they should do it for free? I take it you work for free then?0
