    spent zero today...used up what was in fridge etc to prep dinner tonight. quite pleased with that am going to try and do the same tomorrow!!!

    OH spent about £3.50 taking kids to wacky-type place and £2.10 on car parking, when visiting his dad in hospital!!! No money has left my purse today!!!

    Got family visiting - an extra two adults and two kids, so a bumper shop today in Tescos of about £130.

    It felt strange to be spending that much again. That is what we used to spend on just the five of us! :rolleyes:

    We did a weeks shop of £37 today, which included a lot of fresh vegetables and packed lunchs (including my coke which I keep paying 60p a can for)

    I find having Sky Sports at home to be a great saver or I'd be down the pub buying beer watching the football!

    £1.20p on a newspaper and petrol to work but this was compensated by free meals at work.
