yes I certainly hope so. Although I will be restrained so as not to cost the charity too much in food and drink. :-)

Ah, I misunderstood. The charity I support people pay for a fundraising supper so no cost only a gain to the charity. The food is supplied and cooked by a chef to raise funds too. A different set up.
If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them.

I oversimplified - the tickets were paid for, just not by us!. However we shall still feel obliged to further support the charity on the evening as I'm not a complete cad !!

yesterday was a slow day, LSD, 2400 steps and watched a lot of telly

OH is away today at a creative crafting event so I saw her off bright and early and went for a long walk - 7 miles - so currently steps are at 18025 - however, I have spent the last 3 hours sat down knackered. Its a lovely day, but not going out again, so probably not going to get above 18500.

payday tomorrow, and apart from the major car service I'm feeling pretty confident. but will update at end of month when I'm back from a early weekend by the seaside - hoping the weather holds

WOW 18500 steps, that is a very active day!!
If the weather where you are was anything like we had yesterday, I can see why you watched a lot of telly...it was a complete washout here.

Fingers crossed the weather holds for your trip to the seaside.
