No Credit Card - is it safer to use Paypal?

My father is looking at bookig tickets but doesn't have a credit card - never had the need for one.

He has a Visa Debit card, will it be safer to pay using paypal? Is there better protection and better protection of your card details?

Better with debit card IMO.

You say he has never had the need for a credit card - you have shown the perfect example of why he should have one if he qualifies.
Get him to apply and see what happens
NB I agree Visa debit is better than paypal for the purchase of flights.

NNB I assumed he wanted flight tickets but if it is for any kind of ticket the same advice applies.
