Hotel near Grim Dykes Golf Club, Watford

We're after a hotel close to Grim Dykes gold club in June, aside from the hotel in the grounds (you have to book at least 2 nights, we only need 1) can anyone recommend a decent hotel for 1 night, close to the golf club please?

Have they moved it? I could have sworn it was in Hatch End when I used to live at Stanmore, not Watford.
