Barclays awaiting decision

Hi all, I'm very new here
So we have had our AIP, Experian is showing that searches have been done and according to the Barclays 'track it' feature they are organising a valuation, however, the 'declarations' section is stating not started on track it, yet they were sent over 2 weeks ago!! Its all very confusing. If they are organising a valuation, does that mean we have been approved for the mortgage. Also, both our credit scores are classed as fair, yet we have no CCJ's or defaults, all payments are up to date and not a huge amount of debt between us, and we are on the electoral roll, so how can the credit scores only be fair?!
Its all very confusing and frustrating :wall::wall::wall: any advice would be appreciated please. Thanks

Searches are also conducted elsewhere. Not just the CRA's. Without a survey there can be no mortgage offer.
There's little point in attempting to second guess what's happening. Once your solicitor receives the mortgage offer. You'll have weeks of waiting while the purchase process proceeds. Getting stressed out will do you no favours.0 -

Not a great deal tbh, just that we had an agreement in principal.0 -
We're brand new to the whole process,so it's difficult not to get a little stressed. Thanks for the advice though0

Was this done through a broker? Barclays DIP system gives a lending decision, so you should have been given something stronger than just an AIP.0 -
It is through a broker, and he just told us we'd got the agreement in principle?!0

The question needs to be directed to your broker then. No one on the forum will know as much as what your broker does.0
