Day trip to Old Trafford 1st Sep 14 at 6:01 PM
    Hi guys,

A friend and I are olf to Old Trafford at the end of November to watch United play.

We plan to travel from Exeter, early Saturday monring and come back Sunday.

We dont know wether to go up by Train or Coach. I take it coach will be cheaper? Yet longer?

In the evening we want to visit the night life so want to book a hotel, was thinking a travel lodge?

Is it best to book up now? Will it be cheaper?

Any help / advice would be appreciated

    Thank you

Any Saturday NIGHT IN Manchester will be expensive.
Try just outside like Altrincham where the tram line starts for Old Trafford.

The fallout of the Moyes debacle has obviously been more literal than I thought.

I'm from Manchester originally and visited the cricket ground at the start of August, stayed in the Travelodge Salford Boundary, nice and direct from trafford area and cost 60 for the night.
