    Morning Moo,
you can get free sky,you still use your box as normal,
you still get most of the same channels as freeview,
worth a look before you do anything with the aerial,
    have a great day x

That might just save me a bit of money!
Will investigate how to do it, Thankyou.
I know that I can do the on demand stuff but I didn't know how to use the free view facilities without a tv aerial.

You don't need to do anything. You just switch the sky box on and it lets you watch the free channels and tells you that you need to upgrade or some such thing for the ones that you used to pay for. Evil mother here who was fed up paying for child to watch american trash cartoons. He watches them on youtube now for free :D

Incidentally it's worth ringing sky and asking to turn tv off as sometimes they give you a decent offer to carry on. Ours has been back on once for 6 months since I originally cancelled it but then it went back to the normal price so I switched it off again.

Well all morning I have been bouncing around Sky.
Unfortunately due to my mobile phone contracts being because I have sky TV if I cancel my tv package, £23.50 worth I would be charged an extra £30 a month on the mobile packages, and my broadband discount would also be lost. So retentions have hummed, gas's and come up with a different deal, that reduces the tv package a little. But not as much as I would have liked. But certainly can't afford for it to go up.
I have probably saved about £10 a month. Better than increasing by over £30 I suppose.
Next job call Mum, hang up wet washing, make some meals with a packet of mince I need to use today.
    See you later!

Did you get a full breakdown of what each component was costing you ? It might still be cheaper to go sim only on the mobiles and a new broadband deal with say plusnet ?
Check out the price comparison sites when you get a minute.

My hands are tied in contracts.
Until February 2020 and July 2020 now.
But it is cheaper now than it was.
I am happy enough with that.
I have spent the morning batch cooking. Ragu mix for three meals, meatballs, chicken soup from the bones is cooked up yesterday. So we have plenty meals ready for the coming week.
I had a bacon sandwich after I had popped to Tesco £10.52 spent.
Came to Mum, taken her to the post office to send some parcels.
Had a cuppa and now I am off to Babysit for Biggest.

Babysitting cut short as SIL finished work early.
So I am back home to have a cuppa, reheat the dinner and prepare for work tomorrow.
