Have you got housing costs (rent) to pay?
Help for this should be included in Universal Credit.
Do you have child care costs?
Have you given the DWP details of your tenancy agreement?
What prompted the move to UC?
Have you access to your journal. Can you tell us the breakdown of your last UC payment.Alice Holt Forest situated some 4 miles south of Farnham forms the most northerly gateway to the South Downs National Park.0 -
when I went for my interview they never asked me any of that so I have already added it to my universal credit journal but when I looked down this morning I had this message
You'll have seen a message about benefits that affect Universal Credit.
From the benefits affecting Universal Credit, you're claiming:
Jobseeker's Allowance
Looks like they have put you down for job seekers allowance but I'm working0 -
And there is this statement
Standard allowance
You receive a standard Universal Credit allowance each month
£317.82
Children
You get support for 1 child
£277.08
Total before adjustments
£594.90
Take-home pay
Take-home pay is what's left after tax, National Insurance and any pension contributions have been deducted.
Take-home pay breakdown
Earnings reported by your employer £773.28
The amount we'll use to work out your Universal credit is £773.28
Your total take-home pay for this period is £773.28
The first £409.00 of your take-home pay doesn't affect your Universal Credit monthly amount. Every £1.00 you earn in take-home pay over this amount reduces your Universal Credit by 63 pence.
The total we take off for take home pay is
£229.500 -
Do you pay rent?
Do you have child care costs?
If you don't have either of these costs, then that statement of your UC payment looks correct to me.
£594 is the maximum UC payable. This maximum can be reduced by earnings.
You have a £409 earnings allowance, which does not reduce the maximum UC payable.
After that, UC is reduced by 63 pence for every £1.00 you earn

This is what is missing from your UC.
You should be getting help with rent through UC.

Have you supplied them with a tenancy agreement?
Write on your UC journal that you have rent to pay, and ring the UC helpline to get this sorted.
