D ok thats thrown around alot on this forum. Because of this its lost its meaning and worth and can be disreagrded. C is debatable. Are the reveiws that say the same ignorant too? Whats your opinion on the car? Is no criticism of any car permitted?dutr seems to think there are no better cars, a kind of automotive communisim if you will.0 -
For clarity you are saying cars arent better than walking:eek:?
And yes, just because it costs more that doesnt make it better. But the nice chappys who make the car say a certain spec/model/engine etc is better than another, they would know right? And the fact they charge more for it reinforces it not defines it(although maybe for them as a business it does)
Changing a cars spec doesnt make it "better".0 -

Yes for clarity, I am saying cars are not better than walking, you know that is fact too, you walk to the car, you walk away from the car.
The nice chappies who make the car or the nice marketeers? A Maybach or Bugatti Veyron can both be considered to be nice cars both can be considered to be expensive, however compared to the say humble Ford Focus 1.4 then that could be deemed better for purchase cost, running costs , spares, practiciality etc.0 -

You have your definition of "better", i would have mine.
"Better" depends on your own needs.
The point was you said it was crap because it wasnt practical. You've since "adjusted" that stance because you know you're wrong. You said "a fool and their money are easy parted" - but if its exactly what they want, how are they a fool? Surely something that meets your specific requirements is a better purchase than just being a sheep and buying what someone else says is better, but doesnt really suit your requirements?0 -
