How much fixing this TV would cost me?

So my TV's glass is not smashed, and the TV turns on and works fine. But there are lines across it coming out from a point of internal damage. I'd wish I could post a photo but as a new user I can't. But this one would also work without gaps:

I am unsure what sort of damage of the TV this is, so I wanted to know if it would be worth fixing it? Did anyone have similar damage done to a 43inch TV and found out?
Brought it new for £300. Its a Hitachi model 43HGT69U.
Maybe I'm asking for too much here, but if anyone is a tech savy how much would the actual part cost? Not sure at all I could actually take apart the TV and replace it, but still would be interested if anyone knew.

You need to obtain a no obligation quote from a TV repair company.
Note that a £300 TV is a budget model, so probably far cheaper (in the long run) to just buy a new one.0
