Hi.
Wondering if anyone knows if I can use heat or Cold to ease DOMS from my gym work outs? I got heat pads (one with beans inside that I can microwave) and also a cool compress pack available (from previous unrelated injury).
Not sure if heat or cold is best?
I know cold is For inflammation normally.
Thanks

Heat (bath/shower) followed by gentle activity - go for a stroll or gently exercises.I'm an adult and I can eat whatever I want whenever I want and I wish someone would take this power from me.

Hi. Thanks for replying. My arms are really sore currently so don't think a walk will help (until next leg day).
Normally have a shower anyway at the gym. Baths use too much water so don't have those often in favour of showers.
Guessing I can use the heat bag a bit then. If only budget gyms had saunas and steam rooms!
What would be a gentle exercise for arms? I'm mainly lifting weights at the gym/at home.0
