Yes, thats what the witness ststwment is.
It is a series of facts to support your request for the order to be set aside
So of course you have to include that you acted promptly, as that is a condition of getting a set aside.

You have already submitted your WS with your N244 but no reason why you can't elaborate on what happened when, in a crib sheet - with evidence - ready for the set aside hearing.

Make sure you ask that your costs (if not refunded by the Claimant by order of the court) be reserved, because this Claimant is known to discontinue after set asides, otherwise leaving consumer victims to swallow the £255 fee bill and the costs of attending.

The amount has been artificially inflated, it should be no more than £200 so the PPC is claiming for amounts it has no entitlement to, or double claiming.

This is an entirely unregulated industry which is scamming the public with inflated claims for minor breaches of contracts for alleged parking offences, aided and abetted by a handful of low-rent solicitors.

Parking Eye, CPM, Smart, and another company have already been named and shamed, as has Gladstones Solicitors, and BW Legal, (these two law firms take hundreds of these cases to court each year). They lose most of them, and have been reported to the regulatory authority by an M.P. for unprofessional conduct

Hospital car parks and residential complex tickets have been especially mentioned.

The problem has become so rampant that MPs have agreed to enact a Bill to regulate these scammers. Watch the video of the Second Reading in the HofC recently.

and complain in the most robust terms to your MP. With a fair wind they will be out of business by Christmas.

Some firms (e.g. Civil Enforcement, Highview, Smart Parking and some small PPCs) don't even bother with POFA 2012 wording so the keeper is not liable if you point that out to POPLA

how can I prove that CEL have not used POFA 2012 if I did not receive documentation?
