Dodgy ATM?

Went to the atm outside Barclays and one had a rubber thing around where the card goes in and the other one didn’t ? I asked a staff member and they said it should be ok ?
Anyone know if it sounds legit ?:mad:

    What do you want us to say? Someone actually in the bank concerned who presumably is able to physically inspect it and is familiar with it said it was fine, how are we to know any different?

    Could have been replaced or serviced or something.

    As always, if you're in any doubt, don't use it!

    .......a rubber thing .....
    Are you sure it wasn't a durex?:rotfl::rotfl:

    Basically, if one has some sort of contraption and the other one dosen't I know which one I'll be using. You're right to report it though...the next person may well have fallen for it.

    'Should be okay', dosen't really inspire a lot of confidence. They should've at least come out and had a look.

    BTW, you should post a picture. Maybe ex-banker members (on here) who's been in the business for long can tell you straightaway.
