I have two parcels to post today with eBay sales. Not a lot of money but this gives me a feeling that I am going in the right direction.

I hope that the Barclaycard debt will be cleared by September.

This time next year I hope that things will be quite different.

I have paid almost £3000 off my debt so far this year.

When this is all done, I am going to save money with the same determination.

Well done on paying £3k off the debt. After the credit cards I would tackle the overdrafts as they are probably costing you more than the loans.

Yes, the next thing will be the overdrafts.
I am thinking of trying to leave my £82 child benefit out of my monthly budget and see whether I can use that to pay off my overdraft.
Just had to buy 3 birthday presents so that was £15. Budgeted for though.

If I could keep my child benefit in tact and save it up until Christmas, I could pay off one overdraft.

I just remembered that when I bought the 2 sticker books for £10 in Waterstones, I got the final stamp on my loyalty card which means I can get something free worth £10. So I can get the next 2 presents from there for free!

I have spent the day selling things and finding things to sell. It feels absolutely fantastic!
I feel really good every time I drop the coins into my envelope. I found about 30p while I was cleaning up so that has gone into the envelope too. Doing a boot fair on Sunday with a friend to share the pitch fee, weather permitting. Menu planning is going well so far this week.
