Solar advice please

I looked at this a few years ago then bought the kitchen instead.

Kitchen will be paid for this year so looking at solar again.

Got a big enough roof etc and lift space but looking for advice on companies to choose.

System size I would like is a medium to large but would also like to go for battery storage aswell

Where do I start looking

Also wondered about paying for the system install on a monthly basis. Could afford £240 pm

Thanks
Marc

Generally a very bad idea. Are you taking out a loan to do that? You're unlikely to cover the loan costs from the FITs with a system now.
However £240 per month is nearly £3k per year so you'd have it paid off in under 2 years which is the length of a 0% credit card deal. So could you put it on that and pay off before interest due?

Hiya Marc. Can't recommend anyone, but some background reading on PV in the FAQs, and we are chatting about batts, but I don't think anyone would buy them just yet, best to wait a few more years whilst the technology matures and the prices fall. Some chat on the battery thread.

Is that from a supplier? What price have you been quoted?
