Guys after a few months patiently waiting , the LBC has arrived from Gladstones.
2 pcn from october 2017
1 pcn december 2017

3x PCNs as keeper from Minster Baywatch. lost at POPLA.
They have listed all 3 PCNS on the LBC Total £480.00!!!!

How do i apporach this as theyve listed all of them on the roboclaim. the claim ref is 101411.xxxxxxxx

i have a feeling they will go a push this to court as it will be worthy for them ?

Respond to the LBC as per the NEWBIES FAQ sticky, post #2.

Have they fully complied with the requirements of the Pre-Action Protocol for Debt Claims (PaP)? If not, go through the PaP and require them to provide (hard copies, not a link to their website portal) anything and everything to which you are entitled.

This is an entirely unregulated industry which is scamming the public with inflated claims for minor breaches of contracts for alleged parking offences, aided and abetted by a handful of low-rent solicitors.

Parking Eye, CPM, Smart, and another company have already been named and shamed, as has Gladstones Solicitors, and BW Legal, (these two law firms take hundreds of these cases to court each year). They lose most of them, and have been reported to the regulatory authority by an M.P. for unprofessional conduct

Hospital car parks and residential complex tickets have been especially mentioned.

The problem has become so rampant that MPs have agreed to enact a Bill to regulate these scammers. Watch the video of the Second Reading in the HofC recently.

and complain in the most robust terms to your MP. With a fair wind they will be out of business by Christmas.

How can you respond without hard copies in your hand ?

Ask them to provide full information by post to comply
with the Pre-Action Protocol for Debt Claims

No, don't fill in your financial details - none of their business.

Respond using some of the LBC response example in the NEWBIES FAQ sticky, post #2, but if any of the PaP stuff is missing, you might have to adapt your letter, and require them to provide hard copies of it. If all they've provided is a web link, then you'll require everything in hard copy.

Go through the PaP link I gave you and make a list of what you are entitled to receive. That's the list you send with your initial LBC response to Gladstones.

You could wait until you receive their paper copy then go through that with a fine tooth-comb, or you could simply give them a long list now and let them get on with it.

I don't want to divert you from what you're doing now, but you could drop a SAR-bomb on them (and simultaneously Minster Baywatch) and ask them another full range of questions about the acquisition, use, management, distribution and security of your data. It will give them plenty of work and may make them think you are a bit to handle - and go after lower-hanging fruit. No guarantees on this, but you might get some satisfaction in providing them with something to do other than issuing roboclaims. :). You have nothing to lose, and possibly something to gain, especially if your data hasn't been dealt with correctly.

Here's the thread to give you the starting point:
