If it is this one, it is classed as a 5* hotel. (Grand Muthu Golf Plaza Hotel & Spa) However you need to understand what the star rating means in different countries
for Spain it relates to room size

thanks for the update for this
i booked a ''no quibbles everything included holiday'' THEIR WORDS

That poster was warned that would happen.0 -

Which of course means he has lost any advice he was given on the other threads.
He would have been better posting on the rants board
I can understand his frustration and anger but he went about it the wrong way.
I think the 2 threads started by him should have been merged and the post on this thread deleted.
But - nobody is going to heed the warning not to use this company.
Give it a few months and someone will be along with a similar tale of woe.
I don't understand why people do their research after parting with their money instead of before.0 -
Me and my daughter were looking forward to going back to Mexico and called Teletext to book the advisor told us that for just 90 he could upgrade us to a superior room so we took what he said as a good offer .After the call we looked on the hotel site and found that all rooms were of this standard !!! We called Teletext on various occasions held for 45 mins then hung up on and the other calls weren't much better Thier customer service is disgusting and they really come across as they don't care . Due to being MIS sold information re upgrade they said they would refund the money back ! We were so disappointed with the miss sell that we lost all faith in this company and asked for our 120 deposit back . We were then told that we couldn't cancel it and if we wanted too we had to pay 325.00 unbelievable to say the least . Although when we originally booked we booked in the information given which they then admitted was incorrect so that's a miss sell straight in the face ! I want my deposit back and left alone to deal with the upset this has caused to myself and my daughter I cannot believe that a company can treat you in this way and cause me so much stress0

Yes they are a terrible company, but I think you are laying it on a bit thick.
You were happy with the booking as it stood and then upgraded which was mis sold. Not the original holiday0 -
I cannot believe that a company can treat you in this way and cause me so much stress
Your original booking for standard room will still be available and you get the £90 back so you will be back in the position if they had never mentioned the upgrade.0
