Claiming on Pet Insurance - Morethan

Hi All,

I am wondering if anyone can help with this.

I am looking to claim for X-rays that my dog had to have done but then will also be claiming for surgery that is going to be done on the 28th, this means I will have to make two separate claims but I think the 2nd will be classed as an on-going claim?

Does anyone know if I will have to pay 2 lots of excess for this?

I have paid for the x-rays myself but the cost of the surgery will be going straight from insurers to my vet.

Thanks

You need to put your question to your insurer

Then if you are not happy with the reply you get the route to go down is a complaint in line with their complaints procedure

Then if you are not happy with the reply or they ignore you for 8 weeks you can escalate to the FOS for their adjudication at no cost to you

Is the surgery as a result fo the xrays or is it for something different?
  • The surgery is a result of what they found during the x-rays yes.

Then that should be considered one condition with an ongoing claim.

The excess payable will depend on the policy conditions and whether the treatment covers more than one insurance period.
