Big portions, snacking and take-aways are my problem. I'm not into crisps or sweets, I'd never sit and munch my way through a multi-pack of anything (Mrs fatrab would eat crisps until they came out of her ears), but every meal we cook falls into the XXL portion size. Every takeaway has starters, mains and sides, usually enough to feed a small army.
Fatrab, they do say that if you eat off smaller plates you'll serve yourself less food, so perhaps invest in a set of dessert plates (usually 9in, as opposed to 12in dinner plates)? Or you could even try using bread and butter plates (though to me that would suggest I needed seconds!)In April I am taking a break from buying: Books

Hi everyone,
Realised it has been a while when my last saved page was 76 and now you are up to 89! Sorry about that. I have been regularly posting for 2 years and then things got really busy since May/June. I slipped off the radar for July and August.
I still try to stay accountable but the drinking has been slowly creeping back up. So I know staying here and posting works.
I will aim to be sensible for rest of August and then set my usual target for September.
I hope everyone is ok?Live for the moment and plan for the future0 -

Shaggy 1/4What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -
