Ppi claim

Back in 1999 and 2000 I had an oasis storecard as well as an HSBC credit card. I don’t have any paperwork but I know I paid PPI. Is it worth me making a claim. And has anyone else been in similar circumstances and had success?

It's too late for a claim if you no longer have a policy but you can make a complaint if you believe you were mis sold.

It's unlikely they will still have any details of you though.

Success will depend on what records are left given so long has gone by. The oasis card is pre-regulation so would depend on whether they refuse the complaint or not, unlikely to have much luck with New Day/Santander

HSBC you can complain yes but again depends when it was closed as to the likelihood they have anything left

Do remember you need to complain about being miss-sold, you don't get a refund just by asking and without any proof of records of anything being paid it's unlikely you'd get anything
